Privacy Policy
Cannonball Recruiting LLC ("Cannonball", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Cannonball Dental website and recruiting services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information you share with us when you visit our website, contact us, or engage our recruiting services.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Contact information (name, email address, phone number) when you book a call, request our free guide, send us a message, or submit a resume
- Professional information (resume content, job history, credentials, location, role preferences) when you engage with us as a candidate
- Practice or company information when you engage with us as a hiring client
- Basic technical data (browser type, device, pages visited, referring source) collected automatically through standard web analytics
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you've requested
- Match candidates to relevant opportunities and present opportunities to hiring clients
- Deliver requested materials such as guides, scheduling confirmations, and follow-up communication
- Improve our website, services, and candidate experience
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With your consent. When you ask us to present your candidacy to a specific hiring client, we share relevant professional information with that client. We do not share your resume with practices you haven't authorized.
- With service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate our business (scheduling tools, email infrastructure, analytics). These providers are contractually limited in how they can use your data.
- When required by law. We may disclose information if required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or government request.
Candidate confidentiality
We treat candidate confidentiality as a default, not an upgrade. Your current employer is not informed that you are exploring opportunities unless you tell them yourself. We do not share resume content, role inquiries, or any identifying information without your explicit consent.
Data retention
We retain candidate and client information for as long as needed to provide our recruiting services and meet our legal obligations. Candidates may request removal of their information from our database at any time by emailing delaney@cannonballrecruiting.com.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information from our systems
- Opt out of marketing communication at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at delaney@cannonballrecruiting.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses standard web cookies to maintain session functionality and basic analytics to understand site traffic. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or third-party advertising.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites (Calendly for scheduling, LinkedIn for professional connections, Vimeo for video hosting). When you visit those sites, their own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted online.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active candidates and clients via email.
